“When only three per cent of a workforce is remote, managers can get away with business as usual. When that number climbs to thirty per cent, fundamental changes to the nature of work become necessary. Before the pandemic, we were already suffering through a productivity crisis, in which we seemed to be working longer hours, glued to screens and drowning in e-mails. The solutions that make remote work sustainable—more structure and clarity, less haphazardness—may also help fix these other long-standing problems in knowledge work. Work that is remote-friendly for some may be better work for all.”
The New Yorker, Cal Newport (Author of Deep Work)

DAY8 Way – Trainings methods
Learning by Doing
Our trainings are hands-on. No one way talks by a teacher but collaborative development of content and practical exercises based on real life experiences.
For each learning style
Whether your are an auditory, visual, motoric or communicative learner – our trainings are based on all channels. A clear training structure of explanation, visualization, application and discussion stimulates all senses and therefore supports sustainable learning.
Fun
Trainings are often boring and focussed on content exclusively. We at DAY8 believe that fun is an important part of development and that if we engage positive emotions it supports the learning process. After all, without fun we wouldn’t do what we do. And this is what every attendee will feel when having a training with us.
Who runs the training?
The training will be lead by Raphael Ueberwasser and Fritz Seidel.
We are the two founders of DAY8, an innovation advisory focussing on helping businesses to overcome hurdles when it comes to develop and implement change and innovation projects.
After decades in corporate business and several years of experience in the startup sector, we both started to dig deeper into the best frameworks to succeed when it comes to building up things or changing existing ones. We saw too often that businesses fail when it comes to innovation projects – be it Startups or grown up Corporates. We are now here to help and give impulses to overcome those hurdles.

If you want to be able to run a Innovation projects on your own, we recommend to attend our 1day Innovation training. You can also check our 2 day bootcamp on Design Sprints.
